We are back home now and like to thank you for the
Wonderful trip.

All worked out fine and we felt sheltered and guided all time.

The guides nice knowledgeable and speaking a good English.
Some spoke German but hided this till end of the tour . What a pity.

Buenos Dias

With the problems of Machu Picchu being closed during our tour we were worried we wouldnt enjoy it as much, but we had a great time! The tour through the Sacred Valley and up to Maras and Moray was great. Pisaq ruins are spectacular and it just shows that there is more to Peru than Machu Picchu. Well done with the changes and we will be back to see the other sites in a few years I am sure.

Everything was in the category of excellent. Georgina was ever so helpful when I called or emailed, and others of your staff helped, as well, whenever she was not there. We chose moderate hotels, and they were splendid. Thank you. The transfers were just wonderful; someone was always there with our name on a big sign. That is ever so important when we do not know the language or where to go. Whew!

We did not have any problems, thanks to you, but had we, you had provided ample connections with phone numbers, and website for our family to reach us. You are very professional.  

We chose you having gone online, wanting to go to Peru. We chose you from among others, and now will recommend you for Peru Vacations. We will probably not return to Latin America soon but are heartily recommending you to anyone who will listen. Quality trip was had by all, tough trekking down in Patagonia but we all loved it. Next time we will do northern Patagonia we reckon, to see the differences in the landscapes. We recharged in Buenos Aires, the Tango show was superb and I had pains after eating too much red meat and quaffing wine down. Bring on next year I say!

Dear Escaped

We have just returned to not so warm Canada from the heat of Mexico. We had a nice time, everything went well despite worrying about what Mexico might be like. Your reassurances were spot on and your providers were very helpful, guides good and transport safe.

Hello Georgina

Thanks for your hard work in putting the program together for us to Costa Rica. We really enjoyed visiting the three really different environments, the Carribean, cloud forest / volcanos and then our favorite, the Pacific beaches. Having the hire car was great (when we got used to driving the other side) as we could visit some of the other beach villages in the area of Tamarindo.

We are thinking of Chile next year maybe, renting a car also, so we will send you an email when we are planning.

Incredible Trip!

Our guide and his apprentice in the Amazon were stupendous; Delford was very knowledgeable about flora and fauna of the region, an avid observer and connoisseur of nature, with the ability to draw our attention and interest to new and unexpected events and objects. All the guides I spoke with at the Tambopata Research Center were very good people-people with evident interest in the world around them. The apprentice guide escorting our group was very helpful in allowing different paces on our excursions, and different routes when necessary. My two minor critiques of this part of our trip were the lettuce - suspect in the cases of my mother's and my intestinal issues - and the insistence of the boatmen who, instead of offering a hand to grasp (especially women) grabbed our hands and arms, often further unbalancing their intended objects of assistance. They did listen when I asked them not to help me, which I greatly appreciated. It wouldn't have been an issue at all, except that we were so often in and out of the boats, and my mother was very rocky, especially with unexpected help.

Our trouble-free travels from the jungle to Cusco, and then to Puno, was immensely gratifying.

I typically don't enjoy being shepherded, and felt surprisingly comfortable with the gentle herding in the jungle, especially when compared to the somewhat militant enforced tourism on Taquile island. Our visit on the islands was interesting, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, otherwise it would have been unpleasant.

I'm not into 1,2,3 form evaluations, but here are my comments about our recent trip to Peru.

Thanks for handling arrangements for the trip. The stay you arranged at the airport hotel in Lima on the first night of the trip was particularly welcome. The hotel in Cusco was comfortable and conveniently located. The hotel in Puno was convenient and pleasant. It had an excellent e-mail connection; staff were exceptionally helpful -- much better than I expected from the rather dowdy photo in the brochure you sent.......... 

Anyway, we had a great trip and, except for the small problems which are to be expected in the developing world, we appreciated the arrangements your company made on our behalf. Even where small problems occurred we had prompt response to our phone/e-mail messages............
