The itinerary that was made for us to include all of the areas that we wanted to visit was excellent, you did a great job in fitting a lot into a 3 week period....... There was no one stand out highlight of our trip as we enjoyed every place we visited and they were all individually exciting and quite different. If we had to pick one it would be a toss up between Easter Island and Machu Picchu. Thank you for all of the organization that went into our trip, we did not have to worry about any aspect other than to turn up at the allotted time and someone would look after every detail for us.
Many Thanks

Easter Island is world famous for the 887 huge rock statues in the form of people kneeling down with their hands over their stomachs and also for being the most isolated inhabited island on the planet. The island is 3510 km off the coast of Chile and a trip to this fascinating Polynesian place will never be forgotten.
Remember: We custom make this trip to suit you, if you wish to add days or change schedules just let us know, we are here to make it perfect.
Upon arrival at the Mataveri Airport you will be met with a traditional welcome of flower necklaces. We will then transfer you to your hotel in Hanga Roa, where you can spend the day at your leisure. On Sundays, the local arts and crafts market are a must-see and the local museum, which contains a collection of Rapa Nui artifact reproductions, is also a must for visitors. Your hotel could be the Hotel Otai, the Hotel Vai Moana or similar.
Today we will leave Hanga Roa and head south along the coast where beautiful views of black volcanic rock and the Poike Peninsula accompany our journey. We will visit the archaeological sites in Vaihu, where several moais (monolithic human figures carved from rock) mark the trail of the traditional Moais. We will stop and have lunch at Ranu Raraku, where the statues were originally made, and then take a walk up the Ranu Raraku volcano. The highlight of the trip is a visit to the restored Ahu Tongariki and its 15 moais – the largest worship site on the island. Coming back down from the volcano, we will visit two beaches and then continue our drive to Anakena beach where you can take a dip in the warm Pacific Ocean. We will then drive back to Hanga Roa for the evening.
Today we will take a 30 minute drive to the ceremonial village of Orongo. The site provides views of three islets in the Pacific: Motu Nui, Moto Kau and Moto Iti. After this we will take you on a tour of the Ahu Akivi site which holds seven more moais.
Today we say farewell to this unique destinations and we will transfer you to the airport in order to catch a flight to either Santiago or Tahiti.
If you choose to stay in Santiago before going home or onto another of our tours we can recommend a number of hotels which you can see by clicking here.
